When I first got my Macbook late last year I bought a different screen protector for it after seeing the keyboard take off my 2015 macbook pro works 13" scratched the screen. However, this screen protector was awful and full of bubbles and dust, so I returned it and decided to forget about the screen protector and instead just cover the keyboard with a microfiber cloth when I closed the laptop lid. This was quite an inconvenient solution...but I continued to use a microfiber cloth until a few days ago my friend suggested using a screen protector as I was annoyed with people touching my laptop screen. So this time I was determined to find the best screen protector I could and that's when I stumbled upon this product. While screen protectors are expensive, Spigen er This is the brand I trust and they didn't let me down here. That's what I chose) It was a bit tricky to line it up with the screen since I could only use the camera hole as a reference, so it took me a few tries to get it right. I must have stuck and peeled it over 10 times and was afraid that the protective film would start to bubble and dust would collect on the adhesive side. But to my surprise, every time I put it on, there were no blisters. Most of the time you have to wait until the protective film is completely stuck and then manually push the bubbles aside. This just stuck perfectly every time I reapplied and I didn't have to remove the bubbles at all. Only a tiny speck of dust ended up stuck underneath, but it's barely noticeable unless you look closely, so I can deal with that. Very impressed with Spigen! The oleophobic (oil-resistant) coating is also impressive. I can smudge my fingers on it and when I look into the light I see absolutely no fingerprints or smudges. The screen protector does not interfere with the closing of the Macbook and closes easily without any problems. The only downsides I see are: - The black border of the screen protector on the top is slightly (1.5mm) thinner than the screen. MacBook bezel (see photo). This is most likely because it wasn't actually designed for the MacBook model I have, so I really can't complain about that. Also, it doesn't cover the screen because it's thinner, not thicker, than the bezel, so not a big deal. It's more like OCD. This protective film will attract some dust! Compared to the bare screen MBP, dust is easily attracted to this screen protector and tends to accumulate on it. I tested it under the light after finally applying it successfully and it had dust particles on it after a minute. But just wipe every day and it's good. I don't mind. Overall very impressed with this product. If you need a screen protector for your laptop, this is the one for you. Slightly more expensive but worth every penny.
