I liked this product. My wife bought this to help with ventilation through the rear vent on our 5th bike; The remote control was a good idea because the vent is too high to reach by hand. I installed it carefully and well and it tested well. On our first outing about a week later, the fan suddenly shut off during use. The device was still powered because the lid was still opening and closing. Called the company and quickly sent a new one, so no problem. My main gripe with the product (aside from the fact that it only works for two weeks) is that it's too complex for what it is. It's a fan - I need an on/off, high, medium, low and lid open/close switch. That's all. Instead, it has a rain sensor, temperature sensor, brake light sensor, etc. These are things that complicate (and therefore reduce reliability) without adding any real value to the user. At least not for this user. I don't want my ceiling fan trying to trick me. If it rains I will close it; when it's hot, I open; If it's open while I'm driving, then I get what I deserve. Please create a version that is simpler and therefore more reliable.
