I had to read more reviews :( They are a bit flexible so if you grab the container in the middle the lid can pop open and the contents pop out. I don't understand, like a bag of flour or sugar can fit (in a bag) but that's the only way to get the most out of these containers as the lid is deep or there is sugar in them they WILL NOT fit unless it's a bag under 5 pounds I was hoping I would just use them for something else as I MUST read the reviews and then knowing they weren't what I wanted had to spend a lot more money to get a bigger and stronger one
