I bought this for my butterfly open razor. I figured my razor would probably fit as a razor isn't unique. No, I missed it very much. I didn't measure it doesn't fit so we agree you should measure before you buy. I would use it if it would fit, but still I was disappointed with the weight. It weighs like hard plastic. Maybe aluminum but I don't think so. It's as if this item was designed for something else, a pad of sorts, but "repurposed" as a razor holder. I would buy a wooden type holder that holds a brush on one side and a razor on the other. It turns out that even though this article worked for me, I still like it better. The price for two was about the same. I think the product is overpriced for what you get.
