I bought this for my butterfly open razor. I figured my razor would probably fit as a razor isn't unique. No, I missed it very much. I didn't measure it doesn't fit so we agree you should measure before you buy. I would use it if it would fit, but still I was disappointed with the weight. It weighs like hard plastic. Maybe aluminum but I don't think so. It's as if this item was designed for something else, a pad of sorts, but "repurposed" as a razor holder. I would buy a wooden type holder that

The problem is that I don't use a razor with a small handle. If the hole was bigger it would be great. I would also have preferred it to be a bit heavier, but that's just my opinion. Hole size is a bigger issue, especially if you don't use cheap razors.

This holder definitely fits my safety razor. It comes with two o-rings for reasons I don't fully understand, but they appear to be designed to fit into the imprint on the bottom of the device to help stabilize it. I think it would be better if they weren't part of the design, but maybe there's a reason, and for $8 (deal or take) you really can't win.

I was hoping that at least a toothbrush would fit in, maybe a safety razor. This works well for both. I assume I use it with a heavier safety razor. This freed up a lot of space compared to the razor and brush holder. I was afraid that they would be tiny, intangible, or too small in diameter to work with some of my stuff. It was good. I love when I'm lucky. I have so little space that I had to move things to turn the water on and off. Now I don't have to do that anymore.

I was really hoping this would fit my Gilette Pro Glide. The Gilette Pro Glide's handle is battery-powered, so the tip of the razor is slightly thicker than the rest of the razor. Unfortunately it doesn't fit at all. Too small, what a bummer, because the holder is good, heavy and shiny chrome, like in the photo. It would be nice to buy if the hole was bigger.

I like this product. It's well made, heavy enough not to tip over when using a razor and holds my razors well. I have tried Jagger DE89 and Merkur 34c and both have worked well with this holder. There is a silicone ring on the underside, which gives the stand a secure footing on slippery surfaces. Exactly what I was looking for.

I used this as a stand for my safety razor. I didn't like the quality of the stand. When I took the stand out of the box, the o-ring on the bottom of the stand fell to the floor. The stand comes with a spare O-ring. I just didn't like it so I sent it back.
