Much larger ironing surface
I sew curtains and trying to iron on an ironing board is frustrating. I can place this ironing pad on my dining table to increase my ironing surface. I had to put a fleece lined vinyl tablecloth underneath because I was using steam. And this seal, which prevents the passage of heat, lets steam through, which can damage the surface of the table. Not so hot what's up. And it's in the instructions.
