AWESOME Honey-Can-DO Ironing Board (Desktop)

I love my foldable desktop ironing board. It is easy to set up and take down. I put it on my kitchen countertop and just steam what I need to iron. Highly recommended. Also lightweight compared to a traditional, clunky ironing board.

Great space-saving alternative to a large ironing board

A great alternative to a full ironing board for those of us who don't use an iron often. I put it on a narrow table that allows the fabric to fall to the floor. It's strong and durable and the iron holder works great. Lay in a wire mesh, fold up the supports and either stand on a small spot in the closet or lie on a shelf. So much fewer projects to tweak or break that I might get to know my hardware a little better!

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Other interesting options are available.

Practical and durable

My daughter has just moved into her first apartment as a professional and needed an ironing board to iron and/or touch up her business attire. However, she needed an ironing board that doesn't take up too much space but can meet all her ironing needs. It was the perfect choice. The foldable iron stand and pull-out iron holder make it easy to store behind the closet door. It's also very durable when sat flat and has enough padding to iron on. She loves it and is very grateful that we bought it…

  • Top marks for durability and durability from testers
Cons

The product has an unpleasant smell.

I bought this small ironing board to make sewing easier, not to use a large ironing board. When I received it it was the smell about it. I removed the cover and pad and hand washed them. It still smelled, and I found that the chipboard it was made of was very smelly. In fact, it smells like mold/mildew to me. I have allergies, I'm very sensitive and I can't stand it. I threw it in the trash can. You don't have to go through the $15 return process. You can ask your supplier or warehouse about…

I don't understand how people like it

This is the weakest board I've ever seen. The board itself is chipboard and definitely won't hold up to steam ironing - when first used the front folded down and stayed that way, making it impossible to place an iron or spray gun on it. Workers (just fall off). The legs fall through if you're working with anything more than a napkin (I think because it was poorly assembled - all the gear was crooked and the spacer holding it just flew out of place) - I had to move things around because some of…

Not worth the money.

The board is very wobbly due to the uneven folding stand and the retractable iron stand is quite weak. The wood is 3/8" thick fiberboard (which is what I was expecting given the price), which says a lot about its durability. The filling inside the ironing board is a very thin layer of cheap synthetic fiber wadding that can melt. to nothing, if you use the hottest setting on your iron. I would definitely not recommend this product and would rather save money on a proper ironing board…

Suitable for small apartments!

This is way more than I expected but perfect for my craft/sewing needs! I also have enough height to work and I love the extendable iron stand! Although the metal iron stand took some effort (not much) to pull out, I hope that with more regular use it will slip out easily. It seems well done. The blue cover is very soft and the foam is well made. Overall I am very happy with this purchase! And to make it absolutely clear to other reviewers who were a bit confused and wondering if my customer…

Does the job (good)!

So far I've only used it to iron thermal transfer vinyl onto t-shirts and a pair of linen shorts. Overall I am very happy with this product and the following pros and cons are based on my limited experience with it. Pros: The board is well padded so it offers good thickness and padding for ironing and also offers good support like a flat surface - iron legs and stand fold flat for easy storage. Cons: The legs (the base of the board) don't lock into place when fully open. I was trying to flatten

Well made, very durable, easy to install

I have previously purchased a table top ironing board elsewhere. When I tried to install it, the black plastic tabs meant for the legs broke in place and the legs fell onto my desk. This Honey Can Do Board was taken out of the box, unwrapped, flipped over, legs swung down and locked into place. It also folds back easily. The entire frame, including the legs, moving parts and clamps, is made of heavy duty metal and bolted together with good quality bolts. The board is a thick chipboard. Nice…
