Read the reviews before you buy! I would like to have! The lamps are great when assembled, but this do-it-yourself velcro lampshade was very difficult to assemble. In order for the velcro to work you must have 2 parts: One part has "hooks" that stick to the other part which is fuzzy. The velcro on these lampshades is fuzzy - the only part with velcro that actually hooks is on the vertical of the lampshade fabric (where you attach the ends of the fabric together). The velcro on the metal rings does not engage the velcro on the horizontal edges of the lampshade fabric, resulting in a hell of a time trying to hold the rings in place and trying to secure the ends of the lampshade together. This makes me think it's a manufacturing defect, otherwise why bother putting velcro to the rings and fabric of the lampshade? I was able to bring the shades together. Once the lampshade is assembled, the lamps are beautiful and fit well in my bedroom. The base of the lamp is heavy, not easy to knock over, and the lampshade filters the light well. Were they worth their money? Indeed, yes - but I used a lot of swear words and threatened to return the lamps while collecting them. If you are very uncomfortable returning an item, as was the case for me, the pros outweigh the cons. You win this time, Item Maker by Somewhat Shady Revain.
