It's hard to find a low power LED light bulb to replace your old 15w incandescent bulbs: I thought this might be just the ticket. The size and shape are great, and the (muted) brightness and warm color are just what I wanted. However, they have a very annoying 120Hz flickering during operation. This is typical of cheap LED lights that run on AC power. More expensive bulbs add some electrical components to keep the bulb lit during the zero voltage transient, but obviously they don't have enough filtering (if any). Some people may not notice the flicker, but that worries me.
