I bought these wipes to use as makeup remover wipes. They're a little rough on my sensitive skin, but still not as bad as store-bought wipes. If you use them for their intended purpose, they are soft when they touch your skin. They absorb moisture very well. I washed them in the sink and air dried them. The edges are no longer flat, but that doesn't bother me. They are very easy to hand wash. Took me less than 10 minutes to wash 10 pieces and they are as white as when I bought them. If I put them in the dryer they might look brand new, but I don't care.
