I bought these wipes to use as makeup remover wipes. They're a little rough on my sensitive skin, but still not as bad as store-bought wipes. If you use them for their intended purpose, they are soft when they touch your skin. They absorb moisture very well. I washed them in the sink and air dried them. I LOVE these things. I bought these to use as makeup remover pads and toner pads and I will definitely be buying more. They're soft but with enough texture to get the job done right. I put some liquid coconut oil on them to remove makeup and it's easier than anything I've ever used. I removed an asterisk because they should NOT be labeled as nursing pads at all. So I bought these because I was looking for a way to stop using so many cotton swabs and just have something to wash my face with after I wash my face washed. Now they are a lot bigger than I expected, but I totally agree. The only reason they don't get five stars is because they're listed as nursing pads, but as soon as I put even a little astringent on it to try it on my face, it's soaked.
