I use these with the Samsung S9+ phone. They pair easily and stay connected even when I'm 5 or 10 feet from the phone. The touch control is easy to learn and works reliably. The case uses USB-C (second picture) which has no "up-and-down" so you can just plug it in. USBC will likely be compatible with most of your new devices, allowing you to use a cable. The case charges them quickly and reliably. I like the battery level indicator because it lets me know when I'm about to charge the case. With other kits I often forget to charge the case which drains my headphones.
