I bought these mainly because I wanted pillow cases that zipped closed. I had no real expectations that the cooling aspect would work, but it does.Very soft on both sides. The cooling side is slick, soft and cool. The non-cooling side is also soft and comfortable.Most importantly for me, the zipper keeps the pillow exactly where it should be in the pillow case without letting the pillow slide around in there or work it's way half out. I'm a "pillow puncher" when I sleep so in almost all pillow cases my pillow doesn't stay where it should be and I get so tired of having to rearrange it every couple of days. This case has relieved all those little frustrations so I'm very happy about that.The color is beautiful and complements plenty of my sheets. I've washed them several times without shrinkage or fading. I wash them in the machine then hang to dry and they dry very quickly, usually within two to three hours.Very happy with this purchase and have since bought two more sets.Would highly recommend as a cooling pillow case, as a very pretty pillow case, and as a zippered case that stays in place on your pillow.
