Perfect size for the job!

I drink a lot of loose tea and don't want to bring kettles, tea baskets etc to work (plus a friend keeps them all) so I bought this lovely little French Press. It's just right for a large cup of tea and gets lots of compliments from co-workers. I considered buying a larger size but decided it would be too big - I only drink herbal tea at work, I don't need that much at once. It is very easy to clean and maintain. I rinse it out at the end of the day, dry all the metal parts with a paper towel and let it dry on my desk overnight. I take it home every Friday in case I want tea over the weekend. I put three tablespoons of loose tea in the press at the start of the day. Each time I brew tea afterwards, I add about half a tablespoon and stir as I add water so the tea floats at the bottom around the glass. Most teas can be brewed more than once, and this method will help the tea last longer. At the end of the day I take loose tea home and then dry it for potpourri or sachets as the taste is mostly gone but the smell isn't. slowly to give everything a chance to settle down. You won't get sick from drinking a few tea leaves, but it seems strange, so I try not to add hard chunks to the tea I drink. I also make sure to play with the mesh after washing, curling it outwards to make sure it touches the glass and anything underneath comes out and there's no room to spill out on the sides.
