Makes decent coffee and at a better price than most. I wash it mostly by hand and sometimes in the dishwasher. I'd give it a higher rating if there wasn't one major issue: the coffee seeps through the front of the pot every time I pour it, and that's usually on the outside of the coffee mug as well. It's hard to imagine a better price for a French press. The French Press is great, very minimal, no frills, but it gets the job done perfectly. It holds up to 1 liter of liquid, which is quite a lot if you're making coffee or tea just for yourself. I had to replace the glass I bought at the hardware store because the glass is cracked where the floor meets the wall. I thought the bottom would break when making coffee, so I retired it.
