Just bought my third Bucky pillow. Thought it was time to get a new one. At first he was very disappointed as he was too strong and hard compared to what I was used to. What I liked about my previous bucks was that I could adjust them to the shape of my head and neck. This creates the perfect comfort for a great night's sleep. I took it apart and took out 3 cups of filler. It was better that way, then he took out another cup (4 cups total). Now we are in a much more flexible and workable balance that allows for regulation. Another difference is that the previous two Bucky pillows came with standard pillowcases. Easy to remove and clean. This new one has a zippered lid. The zipper does not open completely in the end seam. Removing for cleaning is much more difficult. In addition, I use pillowcases from previous pillowcases. As for the sound that people were talking about. I got used to it a long time ago, so it's not a problem for me. I didn't understand someone's comment that two different sides are either warmer or colder due to two compartments. There is only one opening with one fill zone. Thus, all contents are mixed. That's where I scooped the 4 cup pods.
