So. I've had a "real" espresso machine for several years and started each day with a cup of espresso that rivaled any espresso made in any coffee shop anywhere was to be found. When my coffee maker finally gave out, I didn't have enough money to replace it, so I settled for a drip cup machine until I could afford a new espresso machine. Then I found this little gadget. This isn't a replacement for a real machine, but I'm really amazed at the quality of espresso it can produce. You really do need your own grinder because you'll burn off your first pound of coffee just trying to find the right grind, but when you find one you'll be amazed at how well it can make espresso. Much better than drinking through an IV drip. One note, it's messy. Don't go too far. As he squeezes out the last espresso, he begins to spit and splatter the coffee everywhere.
