Review on ☕ Hario Cloth Filters for Woodneck Drip Coffee Pot - Natural, 480ml (3ct): Get the Perfect Brew! by Sarah Cox

Revainrating 4 out of 5

My wife loves it at Spare parts and accessories for coffee and espresso machines

She used the Hario V Ceramic Dripper for many years and was happy with it until she heard about WoodNeck. She prefers it to the old, saying it tastes cleaner, brighter, and has better body. He's been using it daily since he bought it (about 3 months) and we've yet to dive into the pack of replacement filters we bought. Maintenance: We've heard a few maintenance suggestions and came up with the following scheme: Remove the filters. grinds and rinses the filter immediately after the end of brewing; Store the filter in a small bowl of water in the refrigerator. about once a week take the filter out of the handle and mix about 1 tablespoon of Oxyclean with 1 degree hot water and let the filter work for a few hours. Rinse several times, the last few times with filtered water. No obvious aftertaste after cleaning, and presumably the oxygen purifier helps kill bacteria (the latter I'm not sure about, but it seemed reasonable when the nice guys @GandBcoffee suggested it to me). This may seem like a lot of work, but it's really nothing more than a quick once-a-day rinse.

Pros
  • Easy setup
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
