never mind Looking back, I would not have bought it.

All right. Looking back, I wouldn't have bought it if I knew it was going to be just as loud and annoying. Based on the picture we thought it would be nice to have it next to the bedside table except my husband keeps banging on it with his calf muscle and as we have wooden slats on the side (like the advertised picture) it makes a lot of noise, whether you go to bed or get up. We've tried moving it but it only seems to get in the way because it's plastic and one of us keeps waking up and/or bumping into the other. We might end up buying one made out of fabric, but I'd suggest if you can't place it right at the head of the bed, away from where you slide sideways, choose a different type. Otherwise, the product itself fulfills its purpose and is structurally flawless. It fits both laptops and the size of the remote control holder can hold 1 to 4 remote controls.
