The picture is great when it works, but struggles to tell when the computer is online.

The picture quality on this monitor is excellent when it is running. But it's such an incredible struggle to get it to recognize that the computer is plugged in. Whenever I connect my laptop to the HDMI input, the monitor says there is no input. The computer sees the monitor but not the other way around and I have to try turning the monitor on and off, plugging and unplugging inputs from the computer and just fighting the monitor insisting on "no video signal" and into the to go to rest. The computer regularly connects to other monitors without this problem. Once it finally detects that something is plugged in, it works until the computer goes to sleep. At this point, the monitor sometimes just stays on with a black glow. When the monitor turns off, it is completely disconnected from the PC, so when you turn it on again, the PC does not see the monitor at first, so all the windows on the desktop are complete, even if the screen turns on shifted. The picture is perfect as described, but this monitor is so frustrating to use that I cannot recommend it.
