I use it on crop, the range of focal lengths covers almost all needs. For interior shooting there is a width. Most of the time, this lens is on the carcass. Sharpness is very good, although worse than that at 70-200/4 IS. The lens hood is not the most successful, in my opinion, it should have been made deeper, although in FF it could have entered the frame. I can’t share such enthusiastic reviews about this lens - rather, it’s just a good, solid lens for every day, not much outstanding, but at the same time without frank failures. Although at the transition after 18-55, 18-85, 18-135 and the like, people experience some euphoria at first.
