A breeze to install and saved about $10 off the dealer cost.

The dealer charged $25 to replace the air filter and I thought that was too much. Considering how easy it was to change yourself and since the gas springs didn't work, it was worth it. Yes, the next step is to buy new gas springs for the hood. None of these things are difficult for someone who knows a little bit about them. Replacing the air filter requires no tools. Gas springs only require a small screwdriver, and if you have someone holding the window or hood, it's even easier.
