Plastic bottom broke first time I removed the nylon screw to drain water

I'd give it zero stars if I could. Fortunately, it happened in the driveway and not in the middle of the bay.First, the diameter of the filter can is smaller than standard (3.0" OD), though the gasket and thread dimensions are standard. That means you can use the filter can (element) on a standard base, but it will leave a lot of the base exposed to corrosion in salt water.You cannot use a standard sized filter can on this mounting base, because there is no clearance to install and remove it…

Lasted one week - my new review

When received was very happy it installed easily but one week after installing cracked well husband was in Montana spewed diesel all over our engine not very happy. If I could give it a negative*I would since it cost us $348 for the tow.

Absolute Horrible Quality

I bought the FD-4615 Fuel Filter for my 2014 Ford Super Duty Powerstroke. When it arrived I did not bother to check that it was in good shape as the reviews here were good. I got this installed, primed my fuel system as normal, went to fire up the truck and it immediately dies. I heard the sound of fuel hitting the ground. When I looked under the truck diesel was gushing out. I figured maybe I pinched the o-ring. Got it all taken apart and looking at the filter I could see where the top side of

Not FORD filters! for my opinion

Not sure about these filters. They look okay but they are not FORD filters. Disappointed with this purchase. Pricey compared to other similar products.

Part leaked within 30 days installing

Part was total junk plastic housing leaked leaving fuel all over motor and under truck would not recommend go with oem and save your time and money

Bleed the air out good for me

Good deal. Just make sure you bleed air out before you start the engine. Had to bleed fuel line quite a bit. Thanks for attention.

Holes too small on the top filter

The holes on the top filter where too small it was causing the truck to loose fuel pressure, changed it out with a motorcraft and fixed the problem. Bottom filter still doing good so far

Bad O-Ring best in my review

The items came in a simple box and the gasket was unprotected, but, they looked similar to original manufacture equipment. The parts fit in place just fine. But the O-ring did not seal well. Leaked air & fuel. I pulled it all apart, twice, and cleaned everything. I lubricated the O-Ring and verified 6 turns to proper closure. Still the O-Ring leaked fuel. Bought a local auto store replacement and no leaks 1st install.

Great price but not OEM

The primary filter fell apart after install. The truck would start then stop. I took the primary filter cap off and the filter had fallen apart. I reinstalled the used filter and the truck fired right up.

The savings isn't worth the extra work, buy quality parts.

These filters were too restrictive for my 2012 King Ranch F-250 Super Duty. Immediately after changing from the motor craft OEM fuel filters I experienced low fuel pressure warning lights and I had to cripple my truck home at 20 to 30 miles per hour. I replaced the FD 4615 filters with motor craft OEM fuel filters and fuel pressure was great and operation back to normal.

Excellent quality at a reasonable price

I've heard and read over and over from experts to DIY'ers, to only use genuine ford parts on the 6.0 powerstroke. A few experts specify to use aftermarket only if there are certain characteristics present on the replacement filters etc. These filters had all the same features as OEM and at a bargain price. The quality is up to par with OEM parts as well. Extremely satisfied

Didn’t last good for me

All was good for about 6 month, then failed and started leaking. Sure it’s cheaper then the dealer but just didn’t last long. Buyer beware

Poor quality with high lint content.

I bought this and the Mopar version planning on using the Mopar and keeping this for a spare and use next go if it met the quality of the OEM. This version appears that it will fit but the fit and feel is is not an acceptable quality. The white filter material is much looser weave and squeezing it vs the Mopar it feels softer. The filter is not centered in the plastic ends which might not effect filtering but shows poor quality control with production. What's most concerning is the large amount

Didn’t work. good for me

Didn’t work. Had to reuse old upper filter. When using this one on my 2009 f250 the truck kept dying and giving me a low pressure code.
