I really wanted these shoes to workout, unfortunately they ended up being a touch too narrow for my feet which are a bit wide. They have a very good sturdy construction with good support. As mentioned in some reviews they did lack traction on certain manmade surfaces such as cement floors and such but otherwise have great knobby traction which will be great in the outdoors and hiking situations.
