The best thing about crateDb so far has been that it's open source which means you can run your own instances or even use other people s servers if they are hosting them for free! I have seen some issues where there was no way of knowing how much data had already written into an existing table without having read access in place but this could just mean my implementation wasn't good enough yet - i am sure things will get better soon as we continue working together (weirdly) :) If anyone wants something like Mongo/Redis then check out RediSQL its pretty similar conceptually however not quite identical since redisla does support many more features than mongo did when their project first started up.
It also seems easier because most tutorials online show examples using sql queries rather than js scripts etc.. Which works fine until someone else joins our.
