I've been looking at Metabones for over a year but the price put me off as I'm just a hobbyist with my GH4. When I found Viltrox and read some of the positive reviews I said "why not?". Aside from fingerprints on the front and back of the glass (Revain, this is obviously a return and they don't seem to have done a restoration) it has been cleaned well and has no damage or other signs of wear. The build quality is first class. very good, especially for the price of these optics. Fits well on the camera and lens side. The shoe and the screws that hold it are very well made. I am visually delighted! At a great price you really can't go wrong with this part. I've tried half a dozen of my Nikon mount lenses (Nikon, Sigma and Rokinon Cine 85) and they all work great. Image quality is quite good, even at full aperture. One issue I found was the difficulty in adjusting the aperture ring when the camera is on a tripod. The ring is right in front of the camera. I'm not sure if this can help, but it will make it difficult to adapt on the fly for video work. All in all, the Viltrox is a great adapter that will completely transform your micro 4/3 lens options.
