This belt has good wear resistance. The way the strap itself is designed is perfect for how the end of the strap catches it so it doesn't come loose. The metal is also nice and easy to put on and take off, but that would be difficult if it wasn't intentional, which is a big plus. That's great. - I don't know why one of the stars says "stretchy" in the review as this belt doesn't stretch at all. - I wear a US size 33 in men's Levi pants, and it comes with an extra 7 inch belt. It's a bit big for the smallest size, but if you cut off an extra piece, it's ok. Now for that belt. I would take the V configuration. It's about $5 more, but it's still a $17 belt. It's worth it. One of the pics in the listing is next to the normal one compared to the V, and the more expensive one is on the same level as the button section, but this one isn't at all and can't. It will always pull on one side as the strap goes through the piece of metal. I don't think it will ever "wear out" as it is designed that way. Bottom line: I am returning this belt in exchange for a more expensive V-belt.
