Tailgate handle seems solid enough. Installation was easy. One caveat: the lock cylinder bracket does not hold the lock cylinder in place. When the key is inserted from the outside, the lock cylinder falls into the abyss. (This is a good example of why you should make sure the new parts work properly before pulling everything back on.) In any case, the retaining clip is easy to remove from the original mechanism and reattach to the new mechanism and then the lock cylinder. works as it should. Attention manufacturer/seller: Fix this small problem!
