Comment for Linux users: - with hdparm -B 255 behaves strangely, it parks about once a minute; - with hdparm -B 254 the behavior is normal, when powered from the network it does not park, when powered from the battery it parks every 5 minutes approximately. Has pros: I put it in the old Dell v13 instead of the default seagate 250Gb 7200K, noise and vibrations and inadequate head parking in Linux disappeared. In general, for the sake of this, everything was started. Its cons: The crunch of the Toshiba hard was reminiscent of the noise made by the ancient hards, but still better than the clang and whistle from the wd/seagate. The sound of head parking is palpable, it sounds like a knock, just a knock.
