One of the best deals, glad I bought this.

This is my third time shopping here, and I just got another disk for 1trb. This time I just gave a call, was informed of the disk's availability, and made a purchase in person.

    Pros
    • Noiseless transmission at high speeds!
    Cons
    • No

It was a terrible purchase, but I wasted my money.

The main criterion for a disk, in my understanding, is reliability. 7500 hours - this is not reliability, which means this disk is slag. Such simple logic. Different pros: Quiet (in standby mode) Reliable (first 5k hours) Cold (first 5 minutes of operation) Cheap (if in dollars) With its cons: What didn't live up to my expectations? For example, the fact that he fell down after 7500 hours of work. Or that it knocks its heads like the good old Maxtor from the 90s (if there are other dinosaur…

I really like the product, it fully meets my expectations.

I put it in the Dexp box, it works great. According to the experience of using previous drives, seagate is quite reliable.

    Pros
    • Virtually silent, despite the fact that 5400 rpm write speeds from 100MB / s. Perfect for data storage. With payment by bonuses, it cost 2440. With a box, a 1 TB disk less than 3000 is not bad. SSD is still expensive. They probably won't sell at that price anytime soon.
    Cons
    • The packaging is just an anti-static bag.

Good product for me, no problems at all.

If you are ready to endure cracking heads during active use (installing the game or downloading files), then take it. Below are the speeds when buying and after 250 hours of use, about 750GB is occupied (75%) Yes, the speed has slowed down.

    Pros
    • Good read/write speeds, not a big price.
    Cons
    • Terribly loud cracking heads (sometimes even louder than the cooler that comes with Intel processors) It heats up, in a laptop in the summer it can heat up to 50 degrees, which is not very good.

I'm not sure if it's worthwhile to call out a negative, especially considering that, as of late, manufacturers have been transitioning all of their reasonably affordable product lines to this technology; but, you should be aware of what you are purchasing before making a purchase. The SMR technology is not suited for the task of writing individual pieces of data to a variety of locations. When you write a small amount of data, you are essentially overwriting a larger amount of data that is…

    Pros
    • 1 terabyte in size and only 2.5 inches in height
    Cons
    • SMR!

Does not meet my expectations, not worth buying.

I took two, series side by side. One person inserted it into the computer, filled in the files (to the tune of around 40 gigabytes), worked for a year but did not write anything down, and then went to pick up the contents after a year but made a reading mistake. Walked the DD and found that undesirable regions do not vanish after being discovered. walked DD while using the flag oflag = direct, and bad sectors started to be removed. However, it became unresponsive before reaching the ultimate…

    Pros
    • cost, one plate, noise level, dimensions, and buffer 128
    Cons
    • increases in temperature; errors appear at an earlier stage; is not trustworthy.

    Revainrating 3 out of 5

Not a bad product, nothing extraordinary.

I bought a product that competes with it called "Western Digital WD Blue 1 TB WD10SPZX," and I wrote a review about it, pointing out some of its faults. However, this Seagate is not as good as the WD that was mentioned earlier. The sole drawback of WD is that the head parks after eight seconds of inactivity (assuming the disk in question is not a system drive), and it takes approximately one and a half seconds to start spinning again. It would appear that Seagate does not park at all given that

    Pros
    • Is that the cost for a 1 TB storage space?
    Cons
    • - a rumbling in the skull - a sluggish speed

When I discovered that the HDD type I had originally intended to use did not have the thickness to fit inside the laptop, I decided to take a chance and purchase this one as an upgrade. The program and operating system started up normally. Everything continued to function well for an additional week. Pros: + Availability: After realizing that I required a slim HDD, I was able to locate one and purchase it in less than an hour. Other versions with a similar volume and thickness would require a…

The product is absolutely worthless, don't buy it.

When they started to restore the system, which was done so incorrectly that some of the gadgets were inoperable, I saw it as normal. All went well while starting from external media. At 99 percent, the system hung after we began to input data. The download failed after the restart. Both the recovery disk and the BIOS were unable to locate the disk. a computer that was connected to it but did not recognize the disk. not even one day of labor.

    Pros
    • No
    Cons
    • died on day one.

Im amazed! It was definitely worth the money!

I used it as a disk for VST, Steam, and Origin libraries on my PC. I also moved the torrent and browser download target folders there for temporary storing of downloads. So far, everything is in order (pah-pah). For anyone who are perplexed by some of the SMART values on this disk's readings: In contrast to WD and Hitachi drives, where a non-zero value for these attributes indicates a problem, Seagate drives' non-zero values for the attributes "07 Seek Error Rate" and "01 Raw Read Error Rate"

    Pros
    • 1 TB, 128 MB cache, SATA III, 5400 rpm (no noise or vibrations), great recording density, not slower than 7200 rpm versions in terms of performance. Fast enough for an HDD while being quiet. The system is priced at 850 PRO Samsung.
    Cons
    • None of them exist. What possible drawbacks could there be at such a price and these qualities? lasted for 2800r.

I like it, thanks for the quality product.

A brand new laptop was purchased for the purpose of storing movies. The file storage medium is an SSD. So everything is good in this challenging one, and the speed in particular thrilled me, but! It is possible to hear the disk powering on and off. Additionally, there are a number of clatters and clicks that can be heard, all of which appear to be normal throughout the functioning of this disk. When installed in a gaming laptop, however, these sounds completely drown out everything else…

    Pros
    • Quick and low-cost
    Cons
    • Rather loud for a laptop device.

I have not tried it in work yet, but I want to share about the quality of delivery! Delivery is fast, the hard drive arrived at the pickup point in a paper bag with a single-layer puffy laid inside! I think. That such goods should certainly be carried in a box with a multi-layered bubble wrap, as the product is sensitive and every shaking and blow kills it! Let's see how it behaves in work!

    Pros
    • Fast delivery
    Cons
    • Haven't tried yet

I took to replace a relatively old portable HDD from WD. This time I'm using it with a USB 3.0 portable case. So his main problem is frequent “parking”. It is worth pausing the movie, stepping back to pour tea and almost instantly it is already in a kind of “sleep” mode, and as soon as you continue watching, the movie ends abruptly (after a minute or so) and you have to start it again, and sometimes even connect the disk to a new one. PC. Another problem that has been identified is spontaneous…

    Pros
    • Not very noisy (compared to the previous 2.5 HDD from WD), does not overheat.
    Cons
    • Very often it “parks”, sometimes it turns off by itself.
