I took two, series side by side. One person inserted it into the computer, filled in the files (to the tune of around 40 gigabytes), worked for a year but did not write anything down, and then went to pick up the contents after a year but made a reading mistake. Walked the DD and found that undesirable regions do not vanish after being discovered. walked DD while using the flag oflag = direct, and bad sectors started to be removed. However, it became unresponsive before reaching the ultimate end of the disk. It seems to start by the sound, everything is OK (it spins, the head walks, by the sound, it's normal), but it's not detected. I connect it, and it seems to start by the sound. Only with the PC3000 was it feasible to begin (the DRD and DSC flags would light up, and as soon as the disk tried to function any more, it would go into an unending busy state). Walked When I recorded over empty space in PIO mode, all of the "bads" went away, but when I started the machine from cold, it took a long time to figure out what was wrong with it. When I start the machine from cold, BUSY hangs for 15 seconds, and then it seems to work. The second disc has been functional for fewer than half a year, and there are no issues with it. P. P. S. performed two tests in quick succession for the purpose of reading a defective disk; however, the picture seems weird, and the findings appear to be from two separate disks.
