Upset and disappointed, the product is very bad!

What can I say? I don't know. It was decided to purchase two identical drives, and both of them were successful in operating under hardware RAID0. Since they were used on a home server, there was very little load placed on them. One of the drives is inoperable. The cost of recovering data from a disk is 8000, while a disk is 2500. Always bought a Seagate, and none of them have ever died (the first one I ever bought is still going strong after ten years). And there was a breakdown in this model.

I'm very happy, it really is worth buying.

Satisfied. The finest terabyte available right now. Temperature that is consistently cold. based on the number that was recorded at the office's serialization system. This site is accurate. Different pros: It comes with two platters that each hold 500 GB. In operation, this model operates at temperatures that are 10-15 degrees colder than the previous 11th series, which ranges from 25-32 degrees Celsius. Firmware that is very silent and does not have any early difficulties. The 12th series is…

I didn't expect the quality to be so high.

It will enough for PCs that are not already overloaded with torrents. Putting drives in a RAID array is something that should be done before using them in a torrent system. Got pros: Regularly engaged in five strenuous activities for the better part of two years. Two were freestanding, and three were organized in a RAID array. Eventually, they withdrew. The current hard drives will be upgraded to ones with a greater capacity in the near future. At this point, all five are functioning normally…

A reliable product, quality is acceptable.

The jamb is that on the AMD platform, the volume is only 33mb (Firmware CC37). (I tried it on Gigabaite and Asus motherboards) dancing with a tambourine in the form of ating the BIOS did not help. Remapping doesn't help either. See problems with HPA. On the Intel platform, I saw it normally.

It's not a bad product, nothing extraordinary.

the first one started dying after 3 weeks. it's good that the disk health monitoring program gave a signal and managed to throw off everything acquired by honest labor. Replaced. The second one is still working (about 2 months).

Overall pretty good, an equal number of pros and cons.

I took 2 pieces in early April, and another one in early July. Confirming the recall below: One of the 3 screws is identified as ST31000523AS. Different pros: 2 magnetic plates for such a capacity, good speed (up to 130mb/s for reading) Cons below: the start is a little louder than the ST3500320AS; With active handling, it is clearly audible (although the screws are located half a meter from the head, in fact, without a case, it will be much better in the case); used less than a year yet, and…

I'm not completely satisfied with the product.

Pretty standard . Suitable for storing valuable information. When you turn on the computer, the hard thinks for two or three seconds, but then it works fine. In general, I am satisfied with the purchase, but if it were not for the shortcomings, it would be even better.

An ideal product for any type of consumer.

The disk has been standing for 6 years, it has Windows and games on it, the computer works 16 hours a day. So far everything is working, but Victoria has found several dozen orange sectors. Decided to change to the eternal server.

I didn't expect the quality to be so high.

Satisfied. The best terabyte now. Constantly low temperature. According to the serial number at the office. site is correct. Got pros: It has two plates of 500 GB. Colder than analogues (25-32 degrees C) in operation, which is 10-15 degrees lower than the previous 11th series. Very quiet Firmware without early problems. Refers to the 12th series. Noticeably Faster 11th. With its cons: In BIOS, Windows, Everest is defined as ST31000523AS. It's kind of embarrassing.

A useless product, it's not worth the money.

Served 5 years, after the magnetic heads died. I paid 8000 for data recovery. and bought it when the did not bite and when the main factories for the production of railways had not yet been flooded, for 1500. I don’t know whether to rejoice or cry, but for me, if the hard drive dies like this without warning, then this is a set-up.

Not satisfactory, upset with the product.

The disk is good, fast, not slow (if someone plans to use it for the system). But he does not live long - only 2 years. I don't buy Seagates anymore. Different pros: Cold - during normal operation 29-30 degrees (+26 in the room) - this is when blowing with a 12 cm fan at 800 rpm. Under load 32-33 degrees Not noisy, the heads rustle not very loudly and only under heavy load He did not die immediately in an instant, but bad blocks began to appear (he began to reassign sectors) - and I managed

A practical product, nothing to complain about.

Used for almost 2 years now. There is a big negative experience of using Seagates, so I won't put five stars - nerves, however. But for all this time there were no problems. Maybe just lucky with a particular piece of iron. And yet, well, them . Seagates . I'm slowly moving to Hitachi. According to service centers, they are somewhat more reliable.

Just a terrible product, very upset.

Died after 2 months of use. Moreover, I used it as a backup, I didn’t constantly turn to it, I didn’t install the system on it firmware CC38 Barracuda 72022022 Product of China I will never buy a Seagate again.

No joy in buying the product, it's not good.

The vibration was so bad when I first got it in December 2022 that I had to exchange it under warranty. The main system unit buzzed and vibrated constantly. After 1 month, 5 days, 17 hours of use, the second screw began making a horrible crack every 7-10 minutes. There's a crackling sound that lasts for two to four seconds, and it makes sense that you can't get to the screw right now because the heads are flying around like crazy. Error rate of 141,818,448 reads per disk After each thesis is…
