Gives you an idea, but expect big discrepancies on multiple readings of the same battery
I use this as a quick battery litmus test on ships I inspect. Given the small size of this device, I was hoping it would save me the hassle of carrying around a large endurance tester. between readings related to state of charge and state of health. Bottom line: I think the only way to really test batteries for lead-acid chemistry is with a stress tester, but it's a good compromise given its small size.
