It really means a lot to me. My skin and hair look much softer and I don't get irritated by chlorinated water. I just ordered a replacement and received it yesterday (1/22/15). I installed the previous one about 9 months ago. I noticed that my skin was becoming irritated and dry again. Got a replacement, installed it, and that's how it went "day and night". From reading the instructions, I saw that it says to turn the filter every 30 days (about once a month) to get optimal flow. I forgot to do this on my previous one, so I'm wondering if it affected the runtime. So don't forget to flip the filter! Lol The packaging says it can be stored for 6 to 12 months depending on the water used and the amount of material filtered. I wouldn't say my 9 months lasted because my skin started to feel irritated again and (gradually) dried out, probably at least a few weeks or even a few months before I changed it. Maybe it's because I forgot to turn the filter over or because the water is just really bad where I live. What is it. Overall this is a great product, easy to install/remove (to change filters) and doesn't take up much space. I recommend it!
