I needed a trench coat because I like wearing sharp and cocktail dresses. I bought this because I needed something that would cover me up but still look elegant and sexy. I'm 5 feet 6 inches and weigh 150-160 pounds. I bought a medium and it fits well. I could probably wear a small but I don't like the sleeves feeling tight under the armpits so if I choose to wear it underneath I'll still be comfortable. The fabric of the cloak is such that if anything was spilled on it, it could be wiped up immediately. This is not a winter coat. It's pretty easy. The only thing I would quibble about is that the bottom is too wide for my liking, but it still looks good.
