I don't know how this would work for jewelry, but for nailing wire clips (the plastic U-shaped things that attach wires to the wall) it is one atomic bomb. I had to run about 100 feet of cable into the media room and neither a regular hammer nor a jackhammer worked as I had some very tight places to insert clips. It was an amazing beautiful heavy head and I could get it close enough to drive those little nails. Saved me a lot of frustration. Should be pretty solid, I've hammered in an incredible number of these staples and the hammer still looks brand new. Highly recommended!
