Bought for my 6 year old boy. He used to wear a Paw Patrol helmet that he bought at a big store. It was damaged and he was ready to get a helmet for a big boy (not a kid). The locking mechanism is simple but confusing at first. It was a little different than the Paw Patrol helmet. You need to paste it, not just connect the two ends. It took him some time to get used to this mechanism, but once he got the hang of it, he was able to do it without help. The size adjustment is only done with the elastic at the back of the head and not with the typical button adjustment mechanism. It fits well and protects my son. highlighted.
