Calling this toy a bell is a little misleading. The sound is created by smaller pieces of metal sticking to metal tubes; the tubes are empty, no bells. However, most birds probably don't mind since it makes noise when shaken. My kennel danced to the sound even when I locked it up! Four stars instead of five partly due to false advertising and partly because the toy arrived quite dirty with a black coating on the beads and needed a thorough wash before I felt safe giving it to my bird.
