I rarely write bad reviews, but as a leather novice I didn't want to spend a lot of money on every single tool. I bought one of these for $12 which broke right away so after some thought I went with the more expensive tool knowing it would get a lot of use. It is exceptionally disappointing and no better quality than my inexpensive one. Because it has a round hole for a square pin, the guide doesn't stay as stationary as it should. The hole for the blades was too small and they didn't fit until I drilled it out. But without a guide ruler, it's really useless to me.
