I ordered this item for my Mini-Doxy. She weighs about eleven pounds and is of medium height. The little one will definitely work for toy-sized dogs (less than 10 pounds). It usually takes my dogs a few days to even inspect the new bed, she climbed straight onto it and made herself comfortable. It was packaged very well and was easy to open with minimal materials. The bed part is very soft and now gets warm when it gets colder. My "little dog" likes it because it has tiny fluff that smells sooooo cute. It also matches my gray furniture in the living room.
