These shoes are too commercial, too ordinary and lose the professional character of inov8. This is for an ultramarathon, but the cushioning is clearly exaggerated, the sole is too stiff, it's definitely not for natural running. You must run against the strength of the shoe itself. the space for the fingers could be more generous, especially on the side of the thumb, the angled thumb weakens the corresponding muscles. The protruding pads on the sides are quite disruptive to keep your feet in a pronated position. The Inov8 Trailroc 245 is a masterpiece, natural ride, flexible sole but has been discontinued. Maybe Inov8 is no longer a brand for professional runners but for amateurs who like arch support, thick cushioning and big rebound that makes their run easier but actually leaves their legs weak! This pair of shoes is overpriced and very disappointing.
