I bought these for occasional gardening as I have skin issues and don't like chemical sunscreens. I have a 24 inch head circumference and this thing barely fits. (All straps are undone.) It has stretched a bit in a couple of weeks, so after trying it on it will be a little more comfortable. When the sun is high in the sky, the edge length is sufficient. but if i go outside from early morning until mid or noon until evening i get a lot of sun on my face. A wider edge will easily fix this. The back around my neck also helps keep mosquitoes from attacking me at dusk. Those bloodsuckers are evil here.
