**UPDATE 6/27/20** Extremerate contacted me and offered a replacement and I accepted their offer. The second kit was much better and could be assembled in about 30 minutes including disassembling and reassembling the controller. The test board is a great addition, it helped me find a test point that wasn't soldered properly. After a few hours in modern warfare it works fine. **** I used to build remote control cars and had a good soldering station. If you really can't solder, just buy a scuf. Also make sure you have a good set of torxes, the ones that come with them are not very good. The design is quite nice, but the installation is quite complicated. One of the screws holding the button mount in place had ripped off the plastic. The screw holding the remapping in the chip did the same. None of the plastic is pre-threaded, so all you have to do is make it as straight as possible and pray it works. I had to re-solder one of the switches because the wires were shorted. I had two points on the motherboard that just wouldn't connect. I finally got one but the other one didn't work at all in the end. After all was said and done, it was useless. I decided I would try a test fit anyway, the triggers would stick no matter how I aligned the brass stops. If it worked, I think it would be a good design, but there are too many problems. They give you a lot of spare parts, which is good because you'll probably need them.
