Bought this amp in the new year and have been using it for 6 months now. I had a 20 year old hi-fi setup (speakers, CD, amp, tape recorder, turntable and tuner) that I was happy with, but as I listen to more and more music from my iPhone I became frustrated with the need for the plug it in via the headphone jack, which doesn't work very well. This Marantz has worked great for me: I can stream from my iPhone using Airplay and also connect directly to my music server (Synology drive) via the HEOS app. . Internet radio was an unexpected surprise. It picks up stations from all over the world including all my local stations so I threw away my old tuner as I didn't need it anymore. I only used RCA jacks on my previous amp, but this Marantz has two digital jacks. connections, so I put them in my CD player and TV. The cables are a lot less bulky, so it's nice to free up some space. The only problem I have is that this amp is a beast. It's very heavy and the front end protrudes a bit, but that wasn't a big issue for me. The sound quality is excellent, above all I have noticed an improvement in the sound of my turntable. Overall I'm very happy I did this upgrade and I think the price is good considering the quality and features.
