I just received an iPhone 8+ and I felt like it was about to slip out of my hands. On my smaller phones, I've used thin matte finish cases for added grip and simplicity. I tried it with my new phone and it just didn't work. It actually made it more slippery. So I found this case and at such a low price it seemed like little risk. Turns out I needed that. I got black. It's very shiny, even shinier than the phone itself. It looks good. Not too thick and chunky. Best of all it has a slightly sticky feel which I needed. Sticky might not be the right word. Let's just say it's easier to hold with one hand now. I like it very much and I would very much like to take it again. I will add that I didn't drop my phone (thank goodness) so I don't know how protective it is. But that's not exactly why I chose it anyway. I might even get another one because finding the perfect case can be very difficult.
