I've been struggling most of my life - and I'm an old man, so that's a long time! - to find a way to find a way to repair the ends of hoses rather than replace them. It's at the ends where my hoses seem to get damaged. I run over the ends with my tractor, they get chewed up by the dog, and sometimes they get stuck on the nozzle I've attached to them.Both the metal ones and the plastic ones I've been buying at my hardware store are unsatisfactory, either because they leak (plastic) or because the hose clamp they use eats up your hand when you use them (metal). These go on smoothly, tighten up securely, and operate comfortably. Now I'm looking all over the farm for more hoses to repair.
