Gardman R691 4-Tier Greenhouse Staging - 35" X 11" X 42" High (Discontinued) Review

The picture posted on Revain was not very clear so please see my photo for what the product actually looks like. I thought it was going be a little bit thicker metal and sturdier. It will work for what I need to use it for but I would not use this for heavy objects or for permanent storage.

I haven't had this same but about 3 weeks and one of them is completely destroyed because the top 2 tears cannot handle any kind of weight whatsoever. So basically I paid all this money for a piece of garbage that would be great for like flowers but not to hold anything with any type of significant dirt in the can dirt in DE container.

If you look at the picture, there are plants on all the shelves.They must be plastic plants, because the shelves will not support any weight what so ever. I am very disappointed in this product but had thrown the box away. I really should have returned it. Don't buy! It's a very cheap product!

Perfect for my greenhouse. and much cheaper than other greenhouse racks. Glad I found them. The wire racks fall off easily so we put plastic ties on them on one side. They can still be flipped up if you have taller plants on a lower shelf. Worked out great!

Love the unit but the shelves are very flimsy and are not secured to the poles, they are small wire pieces that rest on top. No way could it hold what’s in the picture. Good for the price!

Easy to put together. The wire racks are pretty light weight so you have to be carefull where and what pots to put on the shelves, otherwise it works well and is study enough.

Only had it up for a couple of days. It was a fairly windy day, but nothing compared to the normal spring storms we have in this area. I had used tent anchors to keep it in place. The parts attached to the anchors were still there but the rest was in pieces, strewn around the yard. Waste of money.

Well, it is easy to assembly but it is terribly flimsy. It surprised me by supporting a couple of heavy pots but I placed them in the middle with lighter ones on the ends. My biggest problem is the it tends to want to lean to one side. I am currently trying to figure out a way to level it our. I am also concerned that a heavy wind might blow it over. I am now looking for something sturdier for the patio and can then use this somewhere else.

This product is not what I was expecting. It is very light weight. The shelving is extremely flimsy and does not stay put on the shelf unless you have something on top of it, but don't plan on putting weighty objects . I'd be afraid it would fall through. For outdoor use to put seedling plants on (which is what I think it is meant for) - it is worth the money you pay for it. For anything else - probably should keep looking. I was hoping to use it inside my home for multi-tier indoor planting…

This plant shelf is a little flimsy, but it does the job. I have nothing but succulents on it, and when I water the top, it just cascades down. It survived the most recent earthquakes, so I guess it will survive.

Not nearly as sturdy as the product image. The shelves are literally placed on the frame, and it looks really cheap. It’ll work for now, but I would definitely return it if I had the patience.

I love the product I am not happy that I can't seem to get a replacement for something that has not arrived here. and I have to ship back something I didn't get? And I am not happy that I can't get ahold of anyone from the Company

I'm a review shopper and normally would not have ordered this shelving unit based on the majority of the reviews. There was one review from someone who was happy with it for use inside a small greenhouse which was my intended use. Thanks to Revain Prime and free returns, the risk was really just my time putting it together so I decided to give it a try. It works perfectly! As other reviews have mentioned, it's not super sturdy and while it is strong enough for my needs, it may not work as well…

It was a little smaller than I thought by looking at the picture. There was no information relating to size in the advertisement. It only holds one tray per shelf. It is smaller than I wanted, but it works OK in my greenhouse.

I purchased this product a little over a year ago. It is easy to assemble, but just as the other reviews say, a little flimsy. I decided not to use it outdoors and instead placed it on my screened patio. I place my starter plants there; it really can't withstand much weight. After a year, the material has started to give in, and I am now in search for a sturdier, more durable product.

The price as pretty steep for a plastic and sheet metal contraption that is not level. I'm happy with it for holding my plants but I would never buy one again, especially at this price.

I had high expectations for this product but when it arrived, it looked nothing like the picture. First, the picture and the description said "with tough green powder coat finish". Mine was just black tubing - nothing special to it. Next, the shelves did not sit flat on the tubing and were way too light to support plants in anything but plastic pots, and definitely not as many plants as it shows in the picture. These are a little flimsy. The hold the plants just fine but my kids or dog knock them over with ease. I wouldn’t say don’t buy. It’s still perfect for getting potted plants up off the ground. I just wanted to help people know it’s not a strong sturdy shelf unit

Bought a pair last year when they were priced 2 for $25.00 now the price has gone to $35.00 each! Too bad I would buy many more if they had not gone up so much. They are by no means heavy duty and were worth the 2/$25 not worth the $35.00 each they want now.
