Not worth it! on my review.

It was very easy to put together, Very light weight and extremely flimsy. But I over paid for the product I got was definitely not worth the money I spent. I would not recommend this item at all.

Pros
  • Very adjustable. Put in our greenhouse.
Cons
  • Not very sturdy.

great patio shelf, slightly smaller than expected

I dont know why the negative reviews on this thing. Sure it's pretty lightweight, and I wouldnt use it in a freestanding environment like a greenhouse. but seriously up against a solid wall its plenty stable. I was actually surprised by the construction. Instead of the shelves just screwing into the sides, it uses these solid plastic retainers instead, sort of like a t-connector. They work really well, and add alot of stability to the frame, great idea. Simple to put together, it holds a…

Pros
  • Made with durable materials
Cons
  • Not weather-resistant

They work for their intended purpose!

Ordered 3 of these, and they will certainly do the job they are intended to do. These are plant stands and really wouldn’t do anything else well. Paid 24 bucks for each of them, and wouldn’t want to spend more than that since they are very light weight. They are perfect for our greenhouse, and have done their job perfectly the last 2 or so weeks. Remember, these are not for storage, they are for light duty planting as in holding garden starts from seed.just like the name of them implies.

Pros
  • Durable 4-tier shelving perfect for greenhouses, garages, sheds
Cons
  • Difficult to assemble

Great greenhouse shelves

Perfect lightweight shelving for greenhouse or other plant storage. Easy to assemble. I really love these shelves. Not suitable for varied plant sizes!

Pros
  • Provides a cost-effective alternative to a full greenhouse
Cons
  • Not suitable for varied plant sizes

Plant shelving: my feedback

Very good value for the price. It was extremely easy to put together. The shelves are not rigid, however, and do require the planter weight to remain in position. Once you've negotiated that, it's stable.

Pros
  • Can be disassembled for storage
Cons
  • Requires additional tools for assembly

OK For Staging on my review.

Very flimsy. You have to tie down the weak shelvings with "twisties". I anchored it with bricks on all sides down to the floor/ground so it doesn't tip over for the littlest wind. NOT good for leaving plants for the duration of the season.

Pros
  • Cost-effective solution for plant growth
Cons
  • Overpriced for the value

Working very well for me

I use two of these units in my greenhouse. I have seedling trays on one, potted plants awaiting transplant to the garden on the other. The units are not designed for heavy use and certainly the shelves will not take large or heavy pots. Nor are the units made to be moved unless the shelves are emptied. For my purposes, however, they are working very well and are reasonably priced for what they are.

Pros
  • A little wobbly but nothing I can't handle.
Cons
  • Its light weight and easy to assemble but it is not sturdy at all. Only meant for light weight plants.

Temporary, cheap, and light.

I have had these shelves for nearly five years now. Sitting outside in a center patio in a San Francisco home. Not too rainy (we're in a drought) but no overhang. It has held at most twelve plants, mostly small 4" pots of succulents. It has served alright for 4.5 years, but it is disintegrating. The plastic rods holding the top shelf into the shelf below it are broken and basically just staying on due to gravity. I would not use this for anything longterm or heavy.

Pros
  • Can be used for a variety of gardening projects
Cons
  • Not compatible with all greenhouse types

Very disappointed - my new review

I was excited to get this but when it came, it was in a taped up box with missing parts. Obviously, it had been returned before. I returned it and purchased elsewhere.

Pros
  • Perfect for small plants and seedlings
Cons
  • Not sturdy enough for heavy plants

Good buy if you use it right

This is perfect for what I needed it for. I zip tied it to my small porch to make more room for my plants. I love it but it is definitely not sturdy unless you anchor it to something. But it has withstood cold, heat and rain perfectly.

Pros
  • Provides ample space for plant storage
Cons
  • Missing essential components

Overpriced at $28.00

It serves its purpose. as long as your plants aren’t heavy. at 28.00 it’s very overpriced.Could probably buy this at the Dollar Store for $8.00.

Pros
  • Protects plants from frost
Cons
  • Limited surface area for propagation

As described. I would recommend.

I bought this to use in my small backyard greenhouse. It was perfect for my needs. I use it to hold my seedling trays. I can place 2 trays on each shelf perfectly.

Pros
  • Enhances the growth of herbs and spices
Cons
  • May rust and corrode over time

Looks good outside best in my review

The photo on the advert shows the shelves as green but I was sent black and at first I was going to return them. But I put one together and put the plants on them and it turned out ok. The wire shelves that go on the frame was flimsy and weak. I had to use cable ties to hold them on the frame. It does organize my porch very well.

Pros
  • Makes it easy to bring plants indoors during winter
Cons
  • Limited air flow

Shelving for green house

The shelving is working very well. I purchased the 6X8 greenhouse from the same manufacturer, and two of these shelves. The shelves are just as they are explained in the description and are incredibly easy to put together. They are plastic so be careful not to push too hard, but other than that they are perfect for my little greenhouse.

Pros
  • Ensures plant safety in areas with high wind
Cons
  • Not suitable for large-scale gardening

Handy for spring planting

Stand is easy to assemble but the wire shelves do not fit very well and will not stay in place without the weight of a pot. The wire is slightly twisted and will not lay flat on the cross bars. It does work fine when pots are put in place but it comes out of place again when the pot is removed.

Pros
  • 35" Long x 11" Wide x 42" High
Cons
  • It is a little flimsy and was missing a part but I had to use it because I need to get planting.

Just say "NO " - Cheap, Cheap, Cheap, Cheap, Cheap

Just say "NO" to this purchase. The frame is made of OK plastic, but the shelves are flimsy metal and do not hold weight even when secured by plastic cable ties or metal twine. Also, if you use beyond two shelf heights, you will have to secure this unit so that it does not topple over. Cheap all around and un-useable in most gardening scenarios. I ordered 3 - the unopened 2 are going back, the opened one is being kept merely because I already discarded the packaging materials so it will

Pros
  • Ideal for indoor or outdoor use
Cons
  • Easily damaged during transport

Fine for plants for my opinion

Not the as sturdy as I wanted but fine for the price. Easy to put together and holds plants, empty pots. I don't think I would put anything heavier on it.

Pros
  • Conserves water usage
Cons
  • Limited shelf space

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I've ordered multiple times

This is perfect for my greenhouse. They are narrow and spacious. I don't find them flimsy at all. I anchor the wire shelves with zip ties. They give me versatile shelving options - they can be used individually or arranged across my greenhouse with wire closet shelving laid across the top of several of these units spaced 4' apart to give me spacious sq ft area. I've even suspended 4' flourescent grow lights under the shelves. They can be disassembled quickly and tucked away when not in use. My…

Pros
  • Alleviates back strain from gardening tasks
Cons
  • Not insulated and efficient for heating

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Not worth the money

This shelf is not sturdy. Assembly is easy, but is missing a part. I believe even with all the parts, this shelf would still be wobbly. All parts are lightweight and fragile feeling. Not designed for anything heavy. I live in fear of the thing tipping over.

Pros
  • Protects plants from pests and other threats
Cons
  • Not customizable

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Bit Flimsy, could have had a better design

First, a suggestion. You may have better luck constructing the rack, then turning it upside down, before putting the wire shelves on it. In other words, instead of having the rack sit on the raised feet, flip it over and have the rack rest on the flat top of the rack. That's seemed to work better for me. Definitely be aware that this is a flimsy structure, and don't put too much weight on top.

Pros
  • Durable tubular steel and polyresin construction
Cons
  • seems a little shaky for to heavy of plants for our greenhouse, so will use it for something else
