Aren't they factory tested?

Of the 4 cube baskets, this hedgehog cube had insufficient seams as clearly seen in fig 1. To use it I need to find a strong needle and thread: Sad Face. Purchase was a bargain but still - all 4 pieces need to have the correct stitching to ensure good form and functionality.
