Review on 🔦 Hunter 99143 Four-Light Fitter in New Bronze by Amanda Quinn

We had high hopes that this additional lighting kit would be easy to install on our Hunter ceiling fan. The product looks very nice and is exactly the same color as our bronze fan. Unfortunately, after carefully following the simple installation instructions, none of the bulbs worked (even the extra ones we had). Tying the cables was quick and easy. But a word of warning - I should have paid more attention to some of the other reviews that said the mounting screws included in the kit are too short (at least for our Hunter fan model). A quick trip to the hardware store for longer screws (1-1/2" to replace the 1") made for a cheap and easy repair. As there are so many other positive reviews write this off as a defective product. I'm just going to buy a brand new lighted ceiling fan as the cost of the lighting kit plus lampshades plus Edison bulbs adds up. Luckily, Revain has an excellent no-hassle returns policy.
